Snow on Spurn Point!

Snow was predicted to fall in the last week and Spurn Point got a light dusting a few days ago. Then the East Coast was warned that the snow may come hard and fast at the weekend, and that it did. Icy showers combined with winds appeared, at times, like a snow blizzard. By late evening the 'adults' of Spurn Point decided to go and enjoy the deep drifts of snow.

We played in the snow until our fingers and toes were numb, and headed to bed (gone midnight). In the morning I was excited to see that the snow was still here, and set off for a walk with my camera. I wrapped up warm (in Pete's jumpers and coats) and put on my pink and blue wellies!
